The strip is located just north of Woodville on Valley Road GPS co-ordinates 40° 18.1395'S 175° 54.882'E and the vectors are approximately 13/31. Athol and Betty welcome anybody onto their strip. If the windsock is up then its safe to land. Be warned in strong westerly winds landing can be entertaining to say the least.
Famous for hosting the worlds first flyin on new years day every year. Even when the weathers to bad to fly this event attracts visitors from all over the North Island.
